Nearly two years ago to the day, I was in hospice. Yes, you read that correctly. Hospice.
I was 26 years old at the time and found myself planning my funeral, getting my affairs in order, and saying goodbyes. It was such a heavy time as each day was full of so much pain and questions and emotions. Although, through it all, God was so faithful. And despite what the doctors and nurses and even those taking care of me believed, God was not done with me. So, in this video, I share just a few lessons I learned from walking through this dark valley of my life. Just to reiterate, this is me sharing my experience. I am very sensitive to the fact that not everyone’s journey looks like mine.
