Often times in our waiting seasons, we wonder if our prayers really make a difference. We see countless examples in scripture, although I can personally testify to the power of the prayer. I know without question that it is because of prayer, I am still here on this earth. So if you have been lifting me up, I would like to say THANK YOU!
There is also such power in praying with others and being reminded we are not alone. Prayer doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It is just like having a conversation with a friend. Thus, lets not hesitate to jump right in and start praying today.
"I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer." Psalm 17:6 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1st John 5:14
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2nd Chronicles 7:14
